Today is my blogiversary!!! I can't believe I've been posting here for 1 year!!! Wow, time sure flies.

Normally, I wouldn't post on a Saturday but being the day that it is, I thought it was fitting.

This particular card is from a summer swap I just participated in.

I'm also going to randomly select a blog candy winner. The candy is the August vintage stamp set. You can see this by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page. (Unfortunately, the website has not been updated, so I'm unable to show you these stamps.) All you have to do is comment as to why you like THE ANGEL COMPANY for a chance to win.

Hope your weekend is wonderful!

Drum roll please.........

The winner of the blog candy is Patti J. I had 5 commenters. The number generator picked #3. I was actually the third one. I threw that one out and went to the next one in line. So, if you'll drop me an email, I'll get your prize in the mail.

I should have a final count for the swap by Sunday. I'll let everyone know the specifics via email Sunday evening.

Now, I'm going to leave you with a tad of weekend inspiration.

It's a cute little birthday card that you could give to anyone. I jazzed it up a little in the next view. I was afraid that the gals at the card class would think it was too plain.

Which do you prefer?

Have a super weekend!

Holy Crow!

This will just be a quick, little blurb today.

My blog is growing by leaps and bounds. I can't believe that I have 14 followers. I'm glad that you like my creations enough to come back and visit frequently.

Thus far, I have 2 peeps that would like to be included in a swap. Any other joiners out there. It will be tons of fun.

Finally, sometime between last night and now it became time for blog candy!!!!! 2,015 hits the last time I checked. I cannot even imagine. I feel very humbled.

All you have to do now is comment to this post regarding whether or not you'd like to be part of my monthly swap. I know 2 of you have all ready answered that but if you could do it again I would really appreciate it. Plus, it will make you eligible for the blog candy. And comment about my blog candy on your blog. You have until Wednesday March 25th. I will use the random number generator to pick. I will let you know by Friday March 27th if you are the winner of these items:

I know it is hard to tell what the stamps are. So, I'll just tell you and make it easier. The two small stamps are gift with purchase stamps a. & b. The large stamp set is the morning buzz level b hostess set.

If you win, I would love to see something that you made from one, some or all of these items posted on your blog.

Good luck!!!

Gratitude

These are a couple of the sets that I purchased during the 50% off sale. I never have enough thank you cards. I thought the gratitude set would come in handy. My goal is to premake a few so that I have them on hand.

Suzann wanted to make sure that I didn't waste any of the paper left over from our hostess club meeting. This is one of the ways that I'm using it up.

There is a very slight difference in the cards. (besides how close up they are in the picture)

The first person who correctly responds on the difference will win a PRIZE!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Blog Candy Challenge

This is fun! I get to post someone other than me here!!!!! Suzann, the winner of the recent blog candy decided to take the blog candy challenge. If you'll remember, I gave her a mini candy tin. Her challenge was to make something out of it. She did!!

Look how cute this turned out! I just love all the colors. How fun!

I have made something from one of these tins before. I'll post it tomorrow. That will give you 2 different ideas if you have these tins at home. I will also be sending one to a surprise guest to see if she will take the challenge too. Then, I will post all pictures of these types of tins together. If you would also like to take this challenge, drop me an email. I'll send one out to you. I have tons of extras. If you have all ready made one, send me the link, I'd love to post it here. Thanks for playing.

I hope everyone had a happy Monday. Be safe in celebrating Veteran's day!

I went to the random numbers site and had them select for me!!! Ha! It was way cool! I tried bunches of different things before I punched in the numbers. I wanted to make sure that it truly was random. I guess I don't trust easily.

Without further adieu......

BLOG CANDY!!!!

12 patterned papers (retired from TAC), 3 gift with purchase stamps (2 retired), an organdy gift bag, leaf post its, the ribbon sampler (as initially promised in the first blog about the candy), and finally a challenge---what can you do with the tootsie roll candy tin. All of my blog candy will have a challenge in it. I may have just scared everyone away from commenting. You don't have to do it but wouldn't it be great if you posted us a link. I would love to show everyone something that you did!!! I'll bring them by on Monday if that's all right. If you want them sooner, just let me know.

We are all ready on the way to the next bit of candy. Only 23 more inspirational posts before the next winner will be announced. Maybe there will be some in between. You never know unless you stop by.

Just a little reminder--double dips are going on until November 3. This promotion includes freebies for not only guests and hostess' but also anyone wanting to become a new angel. Here is the link for anyone who hasn't checked out the promotions at the bottom of the blog: http://www.theangelcompany.net/Promos_DoubleDips.html

Hope your Monday was Marvelous darlings!

One of many

great projects that is....

I was not going to post anything until the winner of blog candy had been announced but decided against that.

I had an awesome time at the Completely Christmas class last night. We blasted out 10 projects in 2 hours. Fantastical!!! I believe everyone had a wonderful time. I have to say that I didn't think it could be done but we did it. I guess it definitely helps to have everything pre-cut.

Tonight I'm posting one of our many great projects. I'm having a really hard time deciding which one was my favorite. My little Mark created all of the projects with us last night. I asked him to pick his favorite. That is the one we'll be talking about today. In the TAC catalog, it is called a fold over treat envelope. I think that it would need to be bigger to be a treat bag. I called it a gift card holder.

The directions are on page 123 of the catalog.

Items used: Amelia card stock b-317, Amelia v-838, Amelia ribbon b-217, giga scallop punch d-701, copper brad, burnt umber palette ink tt-218, trendy greetings t-2144, and on the inside the top of a paper bag.

Jo Ann really liked this project because it kept us 'green'. That should give you a hint about what my next blog will be. You may not be able to figure it out. Especially if you weren't able to attend.

Speaking of Jo Ann, she is now on her way home. I believe that about now she should be boarding a plane leaving Detroit and heading to Indianapolis. She and Chad got to fly together as far as Atlanta today. I guess that it's good they could keep each other company. However, I am now again without any adult conversation. You will probably be reading multiple post from me this week. If I can't talk to adults, at least I can type to them!LOL

While Jo Ann was here, we got to do many great projects. She taught me how to make a bottle cap ring. REALLY cool! Barb Foster taught us how to color via email! Of course, KellyRae was her normal helpful self. She gave us loads of helpful suggestions about multiple things. It rained a lot while she was here. Unfortunately, we were not able to go to the beach. Therefore, she is just as pale now as she was upon arrival. That really stinks. I always love an excuse to go to the beach and we just couldn't get there. I even set aside a whole day and thought of a bribe for the boys. (Can you believe that they don't like the beach?) Well I've typed my fingers off and your eyes are probably all crossed.

Hope you had a supreme Saturday and have a specTACular Sunday.

Before it became left overs!

I had previously posted about left overs (though it was some time ago!) Well today is the original long before there were even left overs to be thought of!!! If you're in need of any directions, go to the left overs post. The only thing that really changed is there is now a tree. It was cut from the cricut. I have 22 cartridges. So, I'm unsure which one it came from. I'm rather obsessive about my cartridges. I just have to have them. I never pay full price though. In all reality, I probably only pay 1/2 price for any of them. So, I don't feel bad about owning as many as I do. My dear friend Tracy makes tons of fun of me. If I mention that I've recently gotten a new one, her comment is usually 'oh, they must have come out with a new one because you all ready own all of them.' or 'you mean there was one that you don't all ready have.' What a smart alec! I know it's a problem. I'd rather be addicted to buying these kinds of things instead of having an illegal addiction. No drugs in my house!!! At least none that aren't doctor prescribed.LOL! I've probably run on long enough. Most of you have all ready scrolled down to see the card. Without further adieu---

Final reminder: If you'd like to attend the Completely Christmas class, I need to hear from you by tomorrow (Thursday) at the absolute latest.

Drum roll please........... My 25th inspirational post!!!! Keep commenting until Sunday. I will use the random number generator and announce a blog candy winner on Monday. Remember, the prize is a ribbon collection. It is quite possible that I will throw in extras! Let me hear your thoughts.

Hope your Wednesday was a winner!

Celebrate you 2!

It's been a while since I've posted. My children got me addicted to this computer game. It's called Zuma! Ugh! I can't believe how much time I've spent playing the dumb thing. I've gotten nothing else accomplished. Ha! That's not really true but it feels that way. I've actually been quite busy. I'm now a volunteer at 2 schools! Yowzaa! It sure keeps me hopping. Plus, I'm making a special something for one of my cousins first baby. Not nearly as time consuming as I had originally thought but definitely not easy either. I'll post a picture of it after it's been sent to Indiana and received. I don't want to give it away here. Then, last week Mark got his glasses. But I've been talking about that for a while now. Doesn't he look like the most intelligent kid on the planet? I'm not prejudice or anything either!!!!!

Of course, I had the 2 FUN shops that I had to get into the company before the end of September. Now, I'm preparing for the Completely Christmas class this Friday @ 7. We will be doing 10 projects. 2 cards, 2 gift card holders, 2 ornaments, 2 gift bags, and 2 surprises. Plus, my cousin Jo Ann is coming into to town to visit with me. She's going to help me with the class too. She's high energy and fun to be around. If you're coming to the class, you'll love her. If you haven't all ready rsvp'd, please do so!

Now, on to what you've all been waiting for: ta da! The card! Again, this is from the FUN shop of last week. This is the final card of that grouping. No more Just like dad paper for a while. I hate using things until I get burned out on them but that's exactly what I did here.

Supplies used: v - 925 Just like Dad, tt - 205 reflection blue palette ink, v - 108 blue 1 card stock, t - 2882 all occasion icons, and I'm not sure where the beige card stock came from but if I had to guess, I'd say Michael's.

Simple, straight forward and way too plain for my taste. I'm not a big fan but it could be jazzed up. I think I was just brain dead by the time I got to this one. Maybe burned out too. Who knows?

Remember to check out the new links at the bottom of the page. TAC is having a new contest. You could win the Roxie/Moxie paper collections and other coordinating items. The October SOTM is out and don't forget to check out the fall supplement.

Only one more inspirational post until blog candy! Can you feel the excitement?

Hope your Monday was marvelous.

Celebrate you!

It's another card from the FUN shop Tuesday. I like the colors in this one. I'm a blue lover. It's rather manly except for the crystal brads but hey! What's wrong with a little bling? What do you call those kind of guys? Metro sexual I think. Something like that anyway!! Can you tell that I'm not in tune with the jargon of this era! Man, it makes me feel old. Is bad good or is it really bad? and is it fat(like me) or phat? I think things still totally rock though! Don't they?! I keep meaning to check out that urban dictionary. Maybe I'll go to that site after I finish up here. Hmmm!!

So, I know that you can't read the saying in this picture but the next one is better with the side angle.

I used the just like dad collection v-925, v-108 blue 1 card stock, and the new canvas palette ink tt-185. The stamp set is the all occasion icons again (same as yesterday) t-2882.

I believe this post makes it two more until blog candy. I can hardly wait.

Mark's glasses are in. We'll pick them up tomorrow. What a wonderful excuse to take pictures of my youngest boy!! I'm so excited.

Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday. Looking forward to a totally tubular Thursday.

5 till BLOG CANDY!!!

Just a quick reminder! If you haven't been commenting, you can't win any blog candy. Please, comment on the blog not direct via email. I like to hear anything you have to say but I want everyone to see it. (I don't want anyone to think I'm cheating when the winner is announced either.) Ha!ha! I'm a terrible liar and wouldn't get away with it even if I wanted too. If you're unclear on the prize or any part of this contest, please refer back to the first blog candy post or email me privately.

1/2 way to BLOG CANDY!!!

I've been working again. Today, I did an off take of Woo Hoo! I just wanted to show you how versatile it is.

I know that it is hard to see but there are pacifiers in the background on the white paper. I just used white, yellow and blue card stock. The pacifiers and stroller are from t - 2545 baby on board. Oh baby came from t - 2881 ordinary greetings. The stroller and saying are stamped in noir tt -220, the pacifiers in tt - 204 seascape. I colored the stroller with normal, everyday colored pencils. I believe the ribbon came from target in the $1 bins.

This is my 13th weekly/more inspiration post. That means we are over 1/2 way to blog candy!!! Keep posting. I may even throw something extra in with the ribbon sampler!!!!!

IMPORTANT!! I've added a gadget to the side of the blog near my calendar. It's for followers. Please, add yourself to the list. I think it will be cool. I'll thank you in advance.

This will be my last post for this week. Remember, check back on Monday. I'm thinking project or scrapbook page. Suggestions are always helpful. What do you want to see?

Have a superb Saturday!

Blog Candy!

Just a little update on my post from yesterday. Developing this blog was a tool for me to build my business with TAC (The Angel Company). I would like for you to share it with your friends. So, as I stated yesterday, I'm starting a contest.

Along the side of the blog you will see a list of items such as: August events, inspirations, more inspirations and now blog candy. When the inspirations and more inspirations posts equal 25, I will give a FREE ribbon collection to someone who has posted a comment on that particular post. I will keep giving prizes in posting increments of 25. In other words, post comments on the blogs to let me know how you feel about the inspirations that I'm posting. If you don't know how to comment, it is fairly easy. After you read the blog entry, just go to the bottom. You will see a place that says comment. Click on it and it will bring up a place for you to type your comment.

I want to know how you feel about my ideas. Let me know if they are too simple, too complicated, boring, and especially if you just love them! I want your input. You won't hurt my feelings. I just love constructive criticism.

Thanks for visiting!

Suzanne
