Masculine

Hi!

I need 2 masculine cards this month for birthdays. They are the most difficult kind for me. First of all, until Monday, I really didn't have any. Second, I can just never figure out what to do with them.

I've been following a particular blog since learning exactly what blogging is. Michelle Zindorf does excellent work with a brayer. Now, I'm not so good. I tried this one though. This is my third attempt on this card. Before I do another one, I'm going to follow one of her tutorials word for word.

I used glossy card stock from TAC with the t-1091 fish story set. Green Bazzill for the background mounted on white card stock. My dh thought that it needed a little something. So, I tried to add some cattails around the edge of the pond. I'm thinking that the pond is just to perfectly shaped. I don't know. Maybe I'm just to critical of myself.

Tune in tomorrow for some trash to treasure! I'll be doing this with my hostess club in the morning. That means the post will run in the afternoon.

Don't forget--Friday is crop night at my house, NO CHARGE!!

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

I follow Michelle's website too! She's great!! I like your card- maybe add some trees in the background if you want to fill in a bit- I also like the idea of a fish on the line or movement in the water. Very neat!

I'm also a fan of her brayering techniques and that set is perfect for it. I think your card came out fine. Can't wait to see more :)
