This week TAC is sponsoring the mid-week throwdown challenge at Stars & Stamps. This particular blog is part of Operation Write Home. If you don't know about it, you should check out their blog. It's all for a great cause!!!
Well, lucky me, I just completed a swap with 4 friends and guess what?! My card was masculine. It fits perfectly with the theme of the challenge. Of course, I used one of TAC's newest stamp sets. BTW, if you haven't seen the new fall supplement, you are missing out.
Good Things T-3381
I used my Copics to color this great image. Not sure about my color combos because I don't write them down. I just start coloring. I have to say that I'm super proud of the results.
Let me know what you think!

Third card - same set
Here is another card from last week's card class. It is the third of five coming from that same lovely valentine set.
I think this little deer is so cute. He can easily be used for any type of card. He is stamped in burnt umber and then his little foal dots are colored in with a white gel pen. It's all just CAS.

Retired but super cute!
Spring Break really messed with my system. I'm trying to get back on track.
Here is your weekend inspiration:
Have a wonderful weekend!
Here is your weekend inspiration:
It's all TAC but retired except the flowers. I think they came from a mail order place. It just looked bright and fun on this gloomy afternoon.

Easter is...
on my mind. I keep thinking that Spring Break always falls on Easter Week. We seem to always be away from home. My boys have only really hunted for eggs a few times. Of course, they are much to old for that now. I just miss them being little. I'm reminded much to FREQUENTLY that they will soon be off to college and out of the house. Makes me lonely! Sorry, I'm over the maudlin stage now!
On to the reason you're here, I made another Easter card! Thought you might like to see it. TAC's Tutti Fruitti paper collection makes me think spring. So, I've been using it a lot lately. I'm sure you'll all be tired of it soon. For now, it's what you get!
My third Easter card! Tons more to go but it's a good start!
Check out my other lovelies blog for the current Thoughtful Thursdays challenge.
Hope your Tuesday is T-rrific!

The infamous card class
OH MY GOODNESS! The card class last Friday night was such a blast. We had the best time ever! It was a busy day but I had so much fun! In fact, the fun has spilled over into this week too. Monday I went to Joann's with Bonnie. I was able to use tons of coupons for some really great stuff. Wednesday in between tons of errands, I was able to paper craft for a short while at Laura's. Tomorrow, all the girls are coming over during the day just to work on whatever projects their hearts desire! Tuesday and Thursday were doctor dedicated days but the rest of the week definitely made up for it.
So, here are some of the cards that we did on Friday night!
Let me know if you have any questions. Basically, everything came from TAC except some of the ribbons.
Hope you had a thoughtful Thursday and don't forget to check out the challenge @ Other Lovelies!

Holy Cow!!!!
HOLY COW!
This is one of my favorite stamp sets from TAC. It's called funny farm and funny farm phrases goes with it. Now, this particular saying isn't my favorite from the set but it went with the cow.
Go on over to Stamp it Crazy and check out all the other cows! There are some really talented gals over there!
Have a wonderful weekend!

More hoarding therapy
I'm still in hoarding therapy!! Surely, you remember my other lovelies challenge regarding this dreadful addiction that many crafters have succumbed to (did I spell that right?) Anyway, I promised that I would use more of my stuff up before the challenge ended. Well, the due date is just hours away! Thus far, I've made 9 cards. That's really not too bad considering what life has thrown at me this past week. I would have liked to have completed more but I'm seriously not going to complain.
Today Tonight, I had been thinking about my best pal in the world. You know the one who listens to everything you say and then gives you the best advice (no matter what!) Well, she loves fleur-de-lis'(hmmm, maybe another misspelling). Anyway, this card is for her!
BTW, the items hoarded are ribbon and the charm! I bought that charm to make cards for her 2 years ago and finally, finally it made it to the card. That's not to say I haven't sent her cards! The charms just never made it on any of them!!! Everything except the ribbon and charm are from TAC.
I know that typically that beautiful orange is for fall but my pal's Abigirl will just love it!!!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Asian not so Gothic
I tried really hard to come up with something for the Haunted Design House challenge this week. I'm just not very good at dark/gothic type cards. Mine all end up being cutesy!
The paper is called 'zen garden'. I believe that fulfills the Asian part. You'll have to decide if any of them are dark or gothic!
Hope your Saturday is superb!
The paper is called 'zen garden'. I believe that fulfills the Asian part. You'll have to decide if any of them are dark or gothic!
Here they are:
I used several sets from TAC to make these. The green card is with simply divine, butterfly swirls, good timber, and I think the other is spring flowers.
The good timber probably fits the 'dark/gothic' best. So, here is a picture of it by itself.
Boy oh boy, I've really been working on the paper hoarding. Check out other lovelies to learn more about what I'm referring too.
Hope your Saturday is superb!

Valentine - Card Class
I've already told you all about my card class last night! Truthfully, I'm super tired. After the class last night, I remembered that I needed to pick up sodas for the PTO yard sale today. So, at midnight I was on my way to Wal-Mart. Then, I didn't fall asleep until 2 and back up at 5:30. Worked the yard sale until 10 then off to Tyler's basketball game (lost by 1 I think - boo hoo)! Back to the yard sale to pick up my tables and things (I thought I was going to help them clean up but they were finished before I got back.) Then, we went to the Italian Festival in Tradition square - super, yummy food. After this post, I'm off to Mark's game. I think I'll take a nap when we get back and then start designing Valentine's for the 6th graders next week.
So, today I'm going to show off that really cute lollipop card. It was our first project last night. Plus, while blog surfing this afternoon Crazy 4 Challenges challenge C4C22 is to use a lollipop. I'm participating and didn't even know it when I made the card!
Supplies: t-3266 little darlins, v-237 scarlet cardstock (TAC), black cardstock, white cardstock, k-100 crop-a-dile, f-15 prismacolor pencils and of course the LOLLIPOP!
The 2nd annual Serendipity (TAC) magalogue went live yesterday. If you need a copy, please leave a comment or send me an email and I'll get one out to you.
Have a super Saturday!

Vellum challenge part 2
Today is the second card from the vellum challenge at Paperlicious designs. Originally, I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. Then, I remembered my aunt has a birthday coming up.
What do you think of her card?

I'm not sure which is the better view. It looks very pretty in person. On the computer, not so much!

Hope your Tuesday is t-rrific!

Another challenge
Well, since it's the season, I'm trying to keep up with Barb's Macabre Monday challenges. This week is all about terrifying treats. I don't really think that mine is terrifying in the slightest but...well cute is the only word I can come up with.

Angel Art Challenge
On Paper Wings I sometimes participate in a monthly blog challenge. This month the theme was spring time. I recently purchased the Fresh Spring Things promotion from TAC. I decided this would be a great set to use. Plus, it came with matching paper and hardware. You can't beat that! While working, the light bulb went on. I remembered that I have the Audrey embellishment jar found on page 50 of the inspiration book. Hmmm, how can I work those in?
Here is what I came up with:

Simple and cute!

Holy Crow!
This will just be a quick, little blurb today.
My blog is growing by leaps and bounds. I can't believe that I have 14 followers. I'm glad that you like my creations enough to come back and visit frequently.
Thus far, I have 2 peeps that would like to be included in a swap. Any other joiners out there. It will be tons of fun.
Finally, sometime between last night and now it became time for blog candy!!!!! 2,015 hits the last time I checked. I cannot even imagine. I feel very humbled.
All you have to do now is comment to this post regarding whether or not you'd like to be part of my monthly swap. I know 2 of you have all ready answered that but if you could do it again I would really appreciate it. Plus, it will make you eligible for the blog candy. And comment about my blog candy on your blog. You have until Wednesday March 25th. I will use the random number generator to pick. I will let you know by Friday March 27th if you are the winner of these items:

I know it is hard to tell what the stamps are. So, I'll just tell you and make it easier. The two small stamps are gift with purchase stamps a. & b. The large stamp set is the morning buzz level b hostess set.
If you win, I would love to see something that you made from one, some or all of these items posted on your blog.
Good luck!!!

Share your art
I was hopping a few minutes ago and found this on Barb's blog. It sounds like tons of fun so I'm going to do it too.
The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something made by me! Could be a card with which I am really pleased, a doodle, or something else all together LOL! My choice!
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make although I hope you do!
2. What I create will be made with you in mind so you won't get something I already made unless I think it suits you to a T.
3. It'll be done sometime within the next 2 months.
4. You have no clue what it's going to be.
5. The catch is that you must offer this blog candy on your blog! Re-post this on your blog, offer something you make - your choice - to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog (then come here and post). Oh wait make that the first 4 people cause I am #1 {giggle}
Yep be sure to add my name to the #1 line on your blog post - I am the first participant and I am already offering to share. When you create your give-away you will be the #1 spot for players 2-5 on your list. The first 4 people to post this on their blogs and leave a comment here telling me they did (I will go to your blog to check that you have this posted) will get an art share handmade item from me. Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! SO ...................who will be next????
1. Barb
2. Maria
3. Suzann

2 things!
First, we are quickly approaching my 2000th hit!! I cannot believe it. I have promised blog candy at that time. When I've reached it, I'll make a post with further instructions.
Second, I noticed that I have 12 followers. I like even numbers for swaps. Would anyone be interested in participating in a monthly swap? I'll be the hostess. If you're interested, let me know. It will be cards/card fronts only. I'll try to make it themed. Can't wait to hear from you!!

Tin
I totally forgot that I said I would post a picture of my tin. YIKES! Seriously, if I don't write it down, I don't remember. I thought my head was much better than a hat rack. I must not be exercising my brain enough.

This paper is from the Mia's Cottage collection. I know that it is one of the r coded paper collections. I did this project a long time ago. So, I can't remember all of the specifics like ink color and so forth. I do remember that all the paper is Mia's cottage and the fibers are just various ones that came out of my stash. The paper is not double sided so when I put the accordion fold paper on the inside I just sponged around the edges so that my pictures wouldn't be on a solid white background. After seeing Suzann's, I think that I may add a title. I can't decide if I should do that on the outside or inside. I'm still debating. I'm going to add the pictures and send it as a gift for Christmas. I haven't decided to who yet. We shall see.

Hmmm! Will it be Mom or Dad or Roni or Grandma? I just can't decide. Maybe my mother in law or Chad's grandmother. Hmmm!
Have a wicked weekend!
