TAC Fall Blog Hop

TAC has a paper crafting community blog type thing.  (I'm not real computer savvy with lingo and such.)  So, anyway, TAC is having a blog hop this weekend.  I've decided to participate.

I made this little cutie last night for my card class that is tonight.

Let me know what you think!  You can find the other participant links here!  Give them some love!

Have a wonderful Halloween weekend!

Masculine

This week TAC is sponsoring the mid-week throwdown challenge at Stars & Stamps.  This particular blog is part of Operation Write Home.  If you don't know about it, you should check out their blog.  It's all for a great cause!!!

Well, lucky me, I just completed a swap with 4 friends and guess what?!  My card was masculine.  It fits perfectly with the theme of the challenge.  Of course, I used one of TAC's newest stamp sets.  BTW, if you haven't seen the new fall supplement, you are missing out.

Good Things T-3381

I used my Copics to color this great image.  Not sure about my color combos because I don't write them down.  I just start coloring.  I have to say that I'm super proud of the results.

Let me know what you think!

Some weekend inspiration

We are on to card number 4!  I just love the colors in this one.  It's not often that I'm able to pull off a good girlie card.  While this one doesn't have any frills, it still has that feminine look to it.

We are still cruising through the alphabet at other lovelies.  Come over and take a peek!  You may just find some inspiration there too!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Third card - same set

Here is another card from last week's card class.  It is the third of five coming from that same lovely valentine set.

I think this little deer is so cute.  He can easily be used for any type of card.  He is stamped in burnt umber and then his little foal dots are colored in with a white gel pen.  It's all just CAS.

If you're looking for a fun challenge, other lovelies is traveling through the alphabet.  Pop over and check us out!

Have a thoughtful Thursday!

New card same set

Another card from the same stamp set as Saturday!  Our theme at card class was 5 cards using the same stamp set!!  Can I say what a fun time I had creating these lovelies!  From a Valentine set no less...

I love them all so much - I can't decide which is my favorite.

You'll see more throughout the week.

Thanks for stopping by!

One of my favorite NEW sets

I borrowed this set from my friend Brenda.  What she doesn't know is that I don't plan to give it back!!!  :-)

This is one of the cards that we made at the card class Friday night!  We had a super fun time.  If you're ever in the area on the last Friday of the month, you should stop by and join the fun!

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

Just some recent stuff

I know I haven't posted in a while.  Sorry!

For a recent card class:

I love using Copics!  I don't think I've perfected the skill 100% yet.  I'm certainly trying though!

Enjoy!

Christmas in July....

I know it's August.  I made them all in July though.  So, that has to count, right?!

Well, here they are:

This first one, my good friend Brenda designed.  I think I love these colors together!

I don't know if I like the blue or maroon better.  Love the bows though!!!

And this one, well it was a good concept.  The colors that I chose to color are just way to bland.

Let me know what you think!  I'm anxiously awaiting everyones insight.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks so much!

Hi Everyone!  It's been a while!  Here's a little something from TAC it's called awesome blossoms.  I love this set.

I wanted to thank everyone for continuing to visit my blog even though I haven't been consistent.  I haven't really been in a stamping mood lately.  However, my great friend Brenda helped me clean up my craft room and now my hands are itching to get in there and stamp away.  The bad thing is my husband is on vacation this week so that is wreaking havoc on my play time!!  Tomorrow is another day!

So, here's to all of you:

BTW, I just ordered tons of new stamps from TAC so you will be seeing lots of great new things soon!

Thanks and have a great weekend!

A few birthday cards!

Here are a few birthday cards that I recently completed.  The second and third are from a sketch that I just turned a different direction.  All supplies are from THE ANGEL COMPANY.

This first one, I thought would work for masculine or feminine.

This one would be a good younger boy card.

The last one could be any aged girl!

Feel free to email me with questions!

Masculine

Here are a couple of masculine birthday cards that I completed recently.  It's so easy for me to make feminine things but I can never come up with any good masculine items.  These are pretty decent.  Well, at least, I think so.  One of them is very late and will soon be making it's way to Indiana.  However, I really can't decide which one yet.

All stamps and paper are from THE ANGEL COMPANY.

Any questions, feel free to drop me an email!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Retired but super cute!

Spring Break really messed with my system.  I'm trying to get back on track.

Here is your weekend inspiration:

It's all TAC but retired except the flowers.  I think they came from a mail order place.  It just looked bright and fun on this gloomy afternoon.

What do you think?

March SOTM

This is done with the March Stamp of the Month.  It's a really cute little set.  It has a ladybug, snail and flower with a few sayings.  My personal favorite is the snail.  I'm hoping that I haven't already showed these.

Let me know what you think!

I'm off to clean up my 'room'.  I have to make a spot to craft some more!!

Remember to check out the other lovelies thoughtful Thursdays challenge!

Hope your Tuesday was T-rrific!

Easter is...

on my mind.  I keep thinking that Spring Break always falls on Easter Week.  We seem to always be away from home.  My boys have only really hunted for eggs a few times.  Of course, they are much to old for that now.  I just miss them being little.  I'm reminded much to FREQUENTLY that they will soon be off to college and out of the house.  Makes me lonely!  Sorry, I'm over the maudlin stage now!

On to the reason you're here, I made another Easter card!  Thought you might like to see it.  TAC's Tutti Fruitti paper collection makes me think spring.  So, I've been using it a lot lately.  I'm sure you'll all be tired of it soon.  For now, it's what you get!

My third Easter card!  Tons more to go but it's a good start!

Hope your Tuesday is T-rrific!

The infamous card class

OH MY GOODNESS!  The card class last Friday night was such a blast.  We had the best time ever!  It was a busy day but I had so much fun!  In fact, the fun has spilled over into this week too.  Monday I went to Joann's with Bonnie.  I was able to use tons of coupons for some really great stuff.  Wednesday in between tons of errands, I was able to paper craft for a short while at Laura's.  Tomorrow, all the girls are coming over during the day just to work on whatever projects their hearts desire!  Tuesday and Thursday were doctor dedicated days but the rest of the week definitely made up for it.

So, here are some of the cards that we did on Friday night!

Let me know if you have any questions.  Basically, everything came from TAC except some of the ribbons.

Hope you had a thoughtful Thursday and don't forget to check out the challenge @ Other Lovelies!
