Back to School

Well, school starts exactly 2 weeks from yesterday. The PTO is in charge of the teachers welcome back breakfast on the teachers first day back. I had been planning to make these nifty pencil holders for my boys teachers on their first day back. Now, in addition to that, we (the PTO) are going to use them for centerpieces at the breakfast.



These are old Christmas tins that I just put dp(designer paper) on. That red line tape is great!! Sticky stuff! My friend and angel baby Kathleen helped me with these dudes. While I was adhering paper, she was punching flowers and circles and stamping these cute little sayings from the tag tidbits set.





Aren't those bendy straws cute? You can make those flowers point all different directions.







I used coffee beans to weight the can and give the pens and pencils some direction. Plus, that smell is a heavenly wake up call even if you don't drink coffee.
