You Rock!

I had to get away from the Christmas projects but just for the day. I really love this card and I wanted to share it. I'm thinking of changing up the colors next time. My goal was to make it look tie-dyed. Didn't work but I still like the overall card.

I'm sorry about the glare on the first view. It's glossy card stock and it really couldn't be helped.

Supplies used: t 2686 kid praises, tt 220 noir palette ink, tt 213 viridian leaf palette ink, tt 195 l'amore red palette ink, tt 190 orangerie, v 216 white glossy card stock and v 290 premium white card stock.

I stamped the image onto the glossy paper first. Then I stamped the image on another piece of paper. I colored it (with the greatest color technique ever-learned from Barb Foster). Then I cut it out and raised the image with pop dots. It's a thank you card. I'm hoping the person that received it liked it even 1/2 as much as I do.

Well that's all for today. I hope I've given you a pretty good week. 3 inspirations, not to bad for 1 week that isn't even finished yet.

I hope your Wednesday wasn't too wacky.

I love this card. I was wondering how it was going to come out since I saw you start it the other day. I would LOVE to learn that coloring technique. Maybe it can be worked in to Suzann's fun shop (hint, hint).

I can totally see the tie-dye effect you were going for and the colors you chose on this card really encourage the tie-dye illusion.

Cool technique. How do you get the mixing of colors around the edge to get the tie-dyed effect?
