Ahhh...

Back to normal or nearly. Using scraps has definitely increased my mojo. Now, I know that I said a picture was what was going to inspire me today not scraps but both works too right?!

So, here is the inspiration picture:

The little guy in the front is my nephew Nick holding the skim board. The other little guy is my youngest - Mark. Those long arms are keeping him balanced as he skims along the shoreline. I know that it isn't a surfboard but it's as close as we've come to surfing. So, below you'll see how I was inspired.

Supplies:

Hit the beach stamp set
Mia's cottage paper collection (these are all scraps)
Noir palette ink
Crystal lacquer to shine up the surfboard, glasses, goggles, and tube
Prismacolor pencils with mineral oil

I'm getting ready to make a Wal-Mart run for the developed pictures with the underwater camera. YIPPEE!! Should be more inspiration for tomorrow. Can't wait!

Happy Monday!

What great coloring - love the tri-colored "skim" or surf board. Looks so for real. Don't you just love this set??

Ahhhh...my favorite new stamp set in the catalogue! Love the cut-out flower from the Mia's Cottage paper...and all the shiny bits. Totally beachy keen.
