Technique

This is a new technique for me. My friend in Indiana, her mother, myself and my angel baby Jo Ann have a little monthly swap. So, Monica sends me this card. Can you say BEAUTIFUL? Anyway, I tried her technique. My stamp just wasn't nearly as detailed as her Thomas Kincaid stamp.

So, here is my take 2 different ways:

After looking at both of these several times, I think that I need to take another close up. You can't really see what the technique was. Here is one last photo:



You're probably thinking that this doesn't look like a great feat! I'm not going to tell you how I did it just yet. Here is a hint: It is acetate. It is stamped on the outside and the color is on the inside of the acetate. To find out more, you'll have to comment.

I'm trying to preschedule this post. You should see it at 3p.m. today. I hope it works. I have to let the gals at paper wings know if I did it correctly.

That's a darling stamp. I like the top one better too. The colors seem more vibrant. So what gives? What's the technique?

It's the "Stained Glass" technique, correct? I love it!! it is so fun and easy to do. I did a teddy bear with it but never finished!! Please share. BTW I like the first card the best
