Fall has flew

This will be the last fall card that you will see posted here this year. I'm moving on to Christmas. Scratch that--I forgot all about Thanksgiving. I'll be making a few cards for family. I may post some of them. We'll see, most of my family reads my blog and I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise. I suppose I could post them all and have a contest to see if they can guess which card is theirs. That may be kind of fun! Hmmm! I'll have to think about that one.

This is a card that I did for a swap. The theme was foliage. The picture does it no justice. I used a kaleidocolor pad and the camera just does not pick that up. I also highlighted a few spots with the orange gel pen and that really isn't picked up either. This is just a general idea kind of card anyway. I do happen to like this one though. It's just a nice thinking of you type card.

I was suppose to stamp and do things to get caught up this weekend but I just wasn't able too. Mark has run a fever both days this weekend. I really can't figure it out. He really doesn't have any other symptoms. If he wakes me in the middle of the night again, I guess we're off to the doctor tomorrow. We were suppose to have a hostess club meeting but that has had to be put on hold. BUMMER! I was really excited about Kathleen doing her first one and about the other girls learning to make coasters. Hopefully, they can all come over on Friday instead. I'm not alone though because Kathleen's son is also sick. He has definite symptoms though. I'd much rather be in my shoes than hers today. Stomach flues are the worst. Every one in the entire house ends up with those.

I hope that your weekend was better than mine.

Have a marvelous Monday!

This definitely is a warm and cozy card. Did you add the doodling around some of the leaves and acorny things? I like that extra little pizzazz.

the only extra is the dots using the gel pen. Actually, the dots were all ready there. I just brightened them a little by using the gel pen. That's the great thing about TAC. You don't have to do a bunch of work. The stamps do most of it for you!!!!

And I received this awesome card in the mail yesterday! Along with a little tin and a CHALLENGE!! Thanks, Suzanne! I've got to get my Paper Cuts Winger assignments done, but I will DEFINITELY take part in this fun challenge.
