Melissa Waldorf of the blog Paperlicious designs challenged a bunch of us to do a blog hop with the same stamp set. Now, I don't own this set. So, Melissa was gracious enough to stamp these images and send them to me. The girl must be really organized because I'm not even ready for Christmas yet and she's got me making Valentines cards!!! LOL! Seriously, I love the final outcome of this card. I'm always looking for uniquely sized cards. This one ended up being a square. You can't really see the background images in the first picture.
From the side view you can see that I added fancy curls to the background. I don't like a lot of empty space. I've just got to fill it up. You can also see that I added some gel pen coloring over some of the original stamping. I just wanted a little something extra.
Thanks for the challenge Melissa!
I was recently nominated for a blog award. Not only was I nominated once, but I was nominated twice. Thanks to KellyRae and Laurie! I'll post more on this FAB award tomorrow!!!
Everyone enjoy your weekend!
