Hmmm! I usually upload my pictures before I start typing. I did 2 different thank you cards last week. Now, I can't find them. I must not have uploaded them to the silly computer yet. So, I'm doing that as I'm typing today.
I decided that this would be the year that I was 'good' and sent everyone a thank you that gave me or a part of our family a gift. So, I actually got all of the cards finished. They are all signed and in their respective envelopes. Some of them even made it to the post office today. Some have to be hand delivered and probably will arrive some time next week. (A hint to those I volunteer for!!)
My great angel friend Janie gave me a cuttlebug for Christmas. She is such a sweetie! I'm still practicing with it. I've made a total of four cards with it. 2, I won't be showing you. I'm just not happy with them. The other 2, you will see as soon as they finish loading. I almost forgot to mention that my dh paid close attention to my speaking this year. He went to Michael's and bought as many embossing folders for the cuttlebug as he could find. So, these cards are thanks to him too.
This card was kind of cute but it didn't turn out quite the way I had envisioned. I thought that the white core would show through more. I'm not sure how well you can see it. It says thank you in many languages and different ways.
The second view is a little better.
Now, this one, I'm rather fond of. I sponged the white background. Then stamped over the sponging with the fancy curls from TAC. Both cards use the blue #1 and 2 from TAC card stock (dcwv). The inks are palette reflection blue and cote d'azure. Inside, I just used the small thank you embossing folder and went over the raised area with one of the inks. I forget what you call this type of card. It pops up when you open it. Too cute!
So, what do you think?
I've been stocking up on all the after Christmas clearance items. Hopefully, I'll get busy with some wonderful creations.
Hope your Wednesday was wonderful.

Very nice cards. Elegant.
Girl you are going to love that cuttlebug. The spellbinders are compatable as well. Enjoy and Happy New Year chick!
Very pretty cards!
If you go over the embossing gently with some sandpaper more of the white will show through! Run some white core scraps through the CB and practice with the sandpaper to see how much to do to get the effect you want.
